Jerry was a manager in Ernst & Young’s Customs and International Trade Group, where he advised on the full range of customs and international trade matter, with a particular focus on excise matters. Before joining Ernst & Young, he spent ten years working for HM Customs & Excise, covering all areas of Excise and Inland Customs work. Latterly, as a Surveyor in Central London, he was responsible for implementing the excise and customs appeals procedure as Reviewing Officer. He also trained other Reviewing Officers nationally.
 
Jerry’s consultancy experience covers a wide range of international trade, excise duty and customs duty issues. He has considerable expertise in tariff classification and in excise duties in particular. He has wide experience in advising clients on matters relating to excise and customs appeals.

Jerry is acknowledged as one of the UK’s leading customs trainers.
